Back in late 2019, we had a change in Golf Pro at Romiley with Graham taking over from his former mentor Alex.
Not only did this allow the Club continuity but it allowed Graham to bring his own ideas to the role and so far the feedback has been fantastic.
Since joining the PGA, Graham has gained invaluable experience in the golf trade as a whole and, working alongside Alex, Graham led the resurgence in the junior section at Romiley.
Under the tutelage of Graham, Romiley's junior section has thrived in recent years, winning many major honours along the way. This has led to a designated pathway to County and International Level Standards.
Since taking over the reigns, Graham has totally revamped the Pro Shop, brought in new lines and new partnerships with suppliers ensuring the best deals possible for our members and visitors alike. All under the new brand of GD Golf!
Graham says, "I have thoroughly enjoyed the start of my time as head professional here at Romiley and am looking forward to working with the Club, and its members, to ensure the Club thrives and brings success to us all."
