Ladies Section

At Romiley Golf Club we have a lovely Ladies Section. Golf is obviously important to all our ladies but it isn’t all about the golf, but also making new friends.  

We have lots of mixed social events but also Ladies events such as fashion shows & Clarins evenings. We also hold evening dinners & presentations throughout the year.

Golf is a fantastic sport and a great chance to catch up with friends and get some exercise. It is also a game that you can play well into your 70’s, 80’s and 90’s and is really worth giving it a try.

As it is an individual sport you can come along on your own, or with a friend, and here at Romiley you will be made very welcome by all our Ladies.  

Many people, especially ladies, think "how do I get started with the game?" 

Here at Romiley, we have a great Professional, Graham, who holds group lessons for Ladies on a Saturday morning. This is a fantastic way to either learn the game, or make improvements, and is really enjoyable. Those taking part on a Saturday, usually follow the lesson by having coffee and brunch afterwards and all are welcome to join us. 

We also have an indoor swing room so, even if the weather isn’t too good, you can book to practice in the warmth or, if you want individual lessons inside these are also available.

If you are interested in either the game, or just the social side of things, the Romiley Ladies Section are sure to give you a warm welcome.
